Your role as Sous Chef

At Haut, you work both literally and figuratively at the highest level: a gastronomic restaurant with a Michelin star, located on the 28th floor with a breathtaking view over the sea and city. In this unique setting, you are the right hand of Chef Dimitri Proost. You maintain culinary quality, guide a driven kitchen team, and elevate – together with the chef – each dish to an exceptional level. You combine refinement with leadership and directly contribute to an experience that our guests will remember for a long time.

What will you do?

  • Daily coordination of the kitchen and team management
  • Contributing ideas for gastronomic creations and menu development
  • Overseeing hygiene, mise-en-place, and efficiency
  • Assisting the chef during service and in planning

  • Leadership qualities and stress resistance

Hours and days

  • Full-time: 5 days a week
    • Mise-en-place day: Tuesday.
    • Working days: Wednesday to Saturday.

Flexibility is expected during busy periods.
